WHAT IS A BUSINESS PERFORMANCE GROUP (BPG)?
10 – 15 business owners from non-competing properties meeting
twice a year to:
• Benchmark their performance
• Exchange ideas and best practice

HOW DOES IT WORK
• At each meeting BPG members receive detailedbenchmarking analysis of their business from a professional facilitator. This analysis is used to identify areas of strength and opportunity for each business in the room.
• These findings are discussed as a group and owners learn from others as to how to best take advantage of the strengths and tackle the opportunities their businesses face.
• Owners also share profit improvement ideas that they have tried and tested in their own business in a formal Ideas Exchange session.
• The meetings also act as an external board for owners / managers and provide a professionally facilitated open forum where business issues are raised and discussed.
• At the end of the meeting each owner / manager sets goals and a list of action items to work on before they attend their next meeting. At the next meeting the facilitator and other group members will ask for an update on goals and actions set. This provides accountability which means progress is made.
